Here is a cool & inexpensive tip for creating a table centerpiece. Save empty wine bottles made of clear glass, remove the labels and use them as candle holders (white/ivory candles only). Put as many as you can down the middle of the table and voila:
I think this would look great during a holiday dinner. It's romantic, very chic and no fuss. There is a challenge: if you place them as densely as on the table above, it might be hard to carry a conversation with the person in front of you. But it would make you get cozy with the person sitting right next to you... ;)
